What does that mean "designed by a Certified Snow Professional?"

What's a Certified Snow Professional?

A Certified Snow Professional is someone who has met or exceeded all of the requirements put forth by the Snow Industry Management Association (SIMA). Check out this link to the CSP Program at the SIMA website to find out more about this highly regarded certification.

It is important to note that a company cannot be a CSP, only an individual can attain this high level of professional certification. CrewTracker Software is not certified, but CrewTracker Software Partner and President, Dan Gilliland, is a CSP. Dan writes or reviews every specification of the program to ensure that it meets his high standards of approval.

Why is it important?

Software is typically the embodiment of a system of processes in electronic form. In this case the software is designed around a set of processes that the company President developed over his many years in the snow industry as well as his current ownership of a successful snow removal company.

Dan's certification as a CSP is important because it tells you that he knows what he is doing. He knows what processes make a snow business run efficiently and which are just fluff.
