Daniel D. Gilliland, CSP - Partner
Dan has been working exclusively in the snow removal business for the last seven years and for several years before that did snow removal as well as other duties. He is a Certified Snow Professional (CSP), which is a designation issued by the Snow and Ice Management Association (SIMA). There are only approximately 80 Certified Snow Professionals across the US.He has been serving as the chairman of the certification committee since 2005. Dan designed and wrote a unique snow industry-specific software which was used and field tested for eight years. He teamed up with Randy in 2006 to write a whole new software called CrewTracker. One of Dan's greatest qualifications is that he came from a diverse background. He was able to take much that he learned managing a courier company and apply it to the snow removal business. There are far more similarities between the courier business and snow removal than there are between the lawn business and snow removal. Snow removal is event planning, a field in which Dan has had many years of experience beginning in 1986.

Former Director of Engineering and Pricing Systems with Butler Manufacturing Company and part of management team named in 2003 to be in the CIO100, by CIO magazine, naming the top 100 IT shops in the U.S. Author of booklet "Achieving Success in Custom Software Development" published by the Information Management Forum, 2003. Extensive international working experience, working in Saudi Arabia, Scotland, China, and Brazil in the fields of software development and operational manufacturing management. Extensive experience in working with offshore outsourcing of software development.
